Overview
in us as we explore the theory and practice behind taking horses under-saddle with R+. You will leave this event with a clear understanding of the pathway to ridden R+ and how to adapt it to any horse you meet. Come and learn every step of the way with The NAC herd and coaches and open the ridden world.

Day 1:
Meet, Greet and Coffee: Meet the 4 horses that you’ll be training.
Open Floor: Share what obstacles you feel are in your way to R+ ridden work, be that not knowing how to get there, specific issue or lack of confidence.
Mapping The Way: A deep dive into the pathway to starting or restarting horses, creating detailed and nuanced training plans together with expert guidance.
Training in Action: From introducing tack to building behaviour chains in prep for riding, This event is all about the practical skills. With our training plans ‘in your back pocket’ put them into practice with 1-1 tuition and coaching from Alex and Aliyah.
Day 2:
Coffee and workshop: Discuss what we learned yesterday and how you can apply that to your horses (or your clients horses) and workshop the next steps.
Green Flags or Red Flags: No horse’s progress is linear, knowing when they are ready to take their first steps under saddle is a crucial part of keeping everyone safe and maintaining our welfare stance – the first ride should be totally uneventful.
Transfer Cues To Ridden: Witness the first section of ridden work with all three horses, taking your ground work from the first day to the mounting block and beyond
