Overview
Every owner and professional should know what good and bad saddle fit looks like. Too many don’t know when their horse’s are quietly struggling with their saddle, and too many of us don’t know whether our saddle fits or not. “Good enough” isn’t good enough so we’ve teamed up with the International Academy of Saddle Fitters to bring you a weekend of practical skills to empower you with everything you need to know about saddle fit as an owner, coach, bodyworker or vet so that you can confidently get the horse the help they need.

- Understanding The Saddle Support Area
- Gait Analysis and Biomechanics
- Understanding How The Horse’s Movement Affects Fit
- Break
- Palpating The Back: Finding Areas of Soreness
- Chalking The Horse To Find Saddle Size, Placement & Balance
Day 2:
- Looking At Trees: What Are They, How They Work And Why There’s Different Trees
- Practical Session: Understanding How Design Influences Fit
- Learn The Difference Between Width vs Angle
- Fitting The “Wonky” Horse
- Learn How To Assess Your Own Saddle Fit
